Living areas
Sayyida's Pool House
Our indoor pool is solar-heated (weather-dependent, warmer in summer than winter), with a Moroccan feel. The fairy lights and lanterns are perfect for evening swims.
Fire pit and hammock nets
The outdoor chill area has hammock nets (from France), a fire pit, outdoor couches (they're Turkish), and additional seating, perfect for sitting in the morning sun, or stargazing at night on the nets. If you spot a shooting star - make a wish!
Bar and braai area
Our 3-seater wooden bar is the perfect sundowner spot, with pink skies at sundown. The braai (BBQ), well, this is South Africa!
Climb, box and gym
In the garage, you'll find a climbing board (for adults only, it's a spicy 45 degree board, bring your chalk and shoes!), as well as a gym area with boxing area (water bag), skipping ropes, a spinning bike and other gym equipment.
Living and dining area
The open-plan living and dining room includes an 8-seater dining room table, a living room with a couch, arm chairs and day beds, fireplace, TV, and four skateboards (free for use).
Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped. For those who need coffee, you have a Nespresso machine, DeLonghi grinder, and french press. There's a Nutribullet, two double fridges, and other things you'd want in a kitchen (like sharp knives).
Balcony and outdoor dining
Our covered balcony has an 8-seater table, perfect for meals outside when it's warm. There's also a day bed and coffee table - perfect for reading a good book.
Outside
Shpoggle Island's garden makes the house feel like a treehouse - with views of green from the balcony. We have over 100 different plant species that are cared for by our gardeners. In the morning you wake up to the sound of the koi ponds running. Exploring outside, you'll find a yoga deck in the backyard, and an outdoor shower to wash off sandy feet.
